About Dunmore East English School

Dunmore East English School runs a junior summer programme in the coastal village of Dunmore East, County Waterford, for students aged 11 to 16. The school advertises 18 hours of English tuition each week, with classes limited to 12 learners. Students take an Oxford placement test on arrival and participate in communicative lessons using projects, games and role play. Weekly progress tests and a final report support learning review. Course options combine English with multi-activities, sailing, horse riding or camp experiences. Participants stay with local host families, and the school arranges airport collection and transfers. Its website currently lists summer 2027 start dates of 28 June and 5 July. Published package fees include activities and other services, so they are not tuition-only weekly prices.
