About Key Institute
Key Institute in Carrowmore, near Sligo town, combines English teaching with equestrian activities for young learners. Its language programme runs from Monday to Friday, with three hours of classroom English per day covering grammar, vocabulary, conversation, listening and writing. The school's specialist riding programmes include lessons, jumping and supervised care of horses and ponies. Accommodation is available with host families or at the equestrian centre, with organised meals and evening activities. A published summer programme for riders aged ten to nineteen includes English, riding, accommodation and airport transport within one weekly package. The institute publishes different on-site accommodation capacities on separate official pages, so its current residential capacity requires confirmation. The programme should be categorised primarily as junior English with equestrian activities.
