    About Offaly Language Academy

Offaly Language Academy is based on Moorpark Street in Birr, County Offaly, and organises English immersion experiences for teenagers and adults. The family-run academy combines teacher-led language lessons with cultural and community activities outside the classroom. Students can live with local host families, giving them opportunities to use English during meals and daily routines in an Irish household. Its programmes take place in the Midlands rather than one of Ireland's larger language-school cities. The academy works with teachers, group leaders, host families and local organisations to arrange group visits and learning activities. Its website also describes a focus on supporting the surrounding community and using local businesses in programme delivery.
